Pop Art Portrait

This was a very cool project. We had to find a persons face or body and convert it into a pop-art portrait. By changing its color tones and by converting this figure into a pop-art characteristic portrait. I used the picture on the left to base my portrait on. It is Joe Strummer, vocalist of the band; "The Clash." He is one of my idols.

I couldn't take a picture of my final work because it was hanged in the school halls. But so, i used white to black value scales to finish it by giving it pop-art characteristics. the hardest thing to do during this project was to paint the canvas with the appropriate tone color. to give it pop-art characteristics. The easiest thing to do was to choose the color scales and tones to use. I finished my project during six class periods. It was a cool project, i enjoyed it a lot.
