Few Random Sketches

Picture
This are two sketches I selected form my sketchbook to show. They were the most inspirational and the ones that I enjoyed more working on. These are supposed memorabilia from the 60's. The one un the upper part of the paper is a flag representing the british band "The Who" and their british tour on the year of 1964.

The second one, unfortunately is sideways, I cannot cut or move the image because it is only one image. It is a poster from the January 27 of 1963 "Grateful Dead" concert on The Royal Albert Hall on London. The american band opened the show to the "Rolling Stones" on that same night.

In both drawings I used three gel pens. These where from the three colors; blue, black, and red. I did this two drawings at my house on a lined paper, so i cut them and pasted them on my sketchbook. The goal of doing this was to commemorate these two great bands through my work.

I was kind of inspired by these two band while I was working on both drawings. So I did them very carefully. They are both based on old memorabilia from their glory days playing. So the hardest part while I was drawing these two sketches was not to spill the pen's ink. Because it is very liquid. And the easiest thing was to choose the correct direction of the letters and numbers to make a fine work.
